HOW TO USE THESE TEMPLATES:
by Gerry

We've given you the markup (ie the HTML), the CSS (to style the HTML), and images.
If you need to change the images (ie with your band name on it), we've even given you
the photoshop files to edit and re-output the image! woo!

1. I advise that the first thing you do is back up your existing code. Copy all of this into a notepad .txt file OR if you're on a MAC - a textedit file.

2. As these profile themes play with the overall layout of the HTML, we need you to work in the edit SAFE MODE area of your profile. The button is located
in the backend of your profile (where you read all your mail, and comment approvals). This button is located right under the big "HELLO, DAVE"

3. After you have backed up your old code - delete all the code in your profile. Save it. Preview your profile. It should look like
 the default myspace layout.

4. Go to the bio section and type:

<style type="text/css">

</style>

Open up the zip file you downloaded. Copy the code from
 the code.css and place it in between the <style> and </style> tags.

5. Now save your profile and view it. You should see the background change and other cool things happen.
If you don't see anything - retrace your footsteps!

HOT TIP!: A good tip is to open your myspace profile in another browser or tab - this saves time as you don't have to keep saving
and going to your profile time and time again.

6. You need to open up markup.html with notepad, dreamweaver or textedit. Copy the code.

7. Right after the </style> tag - place the code from markup.html

8. Save your profile and view it.

9. This SHOULD be it. Be warned though - that if you place videos or images back into your profile -
if these items are LARGE in physical size etc. they will throw your profile out.
You need to set the dimensions accordingly!

10. 99% of you will want to change the images from "BAND PROFILE" etc. So open up photoshop (or whatever you use)
and use the photoshop files inside the zip. All you have to do is write your band name etc, and save it. Host it.
(ie photobucket). You will need to change the URL/PATH in the css to point to your new image.

That should be it! If you have any suggestions on how we can do better - let us know!

We are here to help you!
